Realizing the seriousness of International Marketing Research, a new division has been formed on the initiative of Secretary TDAP. The new division has been named International Marketing Research Division (IMRD). The division will analyze economic as well as socio cultural environment activities to acquaint first-hand updated information and fetch the economic opportunities for our country stake holders.

Primary Functions:

To Liaison with Pakistan Trade Missions abroad.

Close interaction with Foreign Mission in Pakistan.

Coordination with stake holders.

Develop country profiles in coordination with Missions.

Propose trade events for participation, keeping in view recommendation of our Mission abroad.

Study and analyze economic activity reports received from Missions.
Linkage with TPO’s.

Receive up-to-date information from Missions Abroad.

Develop system to receive regular reports.

Formulate tasks for trade Mission to get required information based on the needs of TDAP.

Search for new or potential products along with their prospective buyer profiles.

Prompt feed back on opportunities created due to natural disaster, shortfall of production, Agreements etc.

Based on first hand information this Division can propose international exhibitions, where GRMD can participate.

Propose trade delegation to cater the need of B2B, meeting or interaction.

To obtain views of various divisions within TDAP, analyze their suggestions and forward them IMRD’s recommendations for better coordination and building positive image of TDAP in order to increase exports.

Assistant Director. Mr. Shafqatullah has been assigned African Region. He will be the concerned person to seek any queries related to aforementioned regions as he will be maintaining the country profiles in accordance with TPO’s and Missions.

Mr. Salman Shahid, Marketing Officer for this division has been assigned the European Region. He will be directly in contact with all missions lying in this region and maintain the country profiles, seek new trade promotion initiatives and will acquire complete information about the TPO’s of European countries for trade queries from stakeholders.

Mr. Salim Rajani, Marketing Officer has been assigned Asian Region. Terms for Participation

No Participation fee will be charged from the exhibitors however a refundable security deposit of Rs.25,000/= in the shape of Pay Order / Bank draft may be marked to Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP-GRMD) must be submitted with the application without which the appalication will not be entertained.

TDAP will ship the exhibits at its own cost (within prescribed weight limits).
